Rivers Restaurant provides an ideal mixture of views, style, service, and incredible food. Our chef driven menu has something for everyone with broad selections of fresh fish, seafood and steaks. Lighter fare is also available in our bar.
We are located across Madison Street from the Lyric Opera House. We are also less than two blocks up Wacker Drive from Chicago’s tallest attraction, the Willis Tower. And finally, we sit at the near perfect junction between Ogilvie and Union Stations.
With the largest covered patio on the river we are a great choice for either a casual al fresco experience or a private event. Our private and semi-private dining spaces can accommodate from 20 to 300 guests.

- Weekend Lyric Opera PerformancesSaturdays we open at 4:45pm. Sundays we open after the performance concludes.
- Weekend Joffrey Ballet PerformancesWe will be open on Saturday evenings starting at 4:00 pm
- Thanksgiving Weekend HoursWednesday - Normal hours - Thursday Closed - Friday opening at 5:00 for Preperformance Dinner Service.
